Tyson Fury is a professional boxer from Manchester, England. He comes from an Irish traveller family, hence his name the Gypsy King.

He became the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in 2015 after dethroning the 11-year unbeaten Wladimir Klitschko. Following his victory and acquisition of the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO, Lineal and The Ring titles, he plunged into a well-publicised state of depression.

Reaching 28-stone in weight, he accepted things needed to change and began his comeback in 2018. After a couple of warm-up fights, he took on the unlikely challenge of WBC World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder and his destructive right hand. The fight was scored a draw but will be remembered for the iconic moment in the final round when Wilder landed his infamous power shots, seeing the Gypsy King fall to the canvas, seemingly out cold, only for him to rise to his feet to beat the 10-count.

In the 2020 rematch, Fury defeated Wilder by a technical knockout in the seventh round after a dominant performance. He knocked out Wilder again in 2021, this time in the eleventh round, completing one of the best trilogies in history and cementing his place back at the top.
