From Brooklyn, New York, Mike Tyson is considered by many as the most ferocious fighter to step inside a ring and is one of the most feared punchers in all of boxing.

He was a member of street gangs from an early age in one of the roughest areas in the USA. This led to him being sent to a Juvenile centre where social worker Bobby Stewart recognised his boxing potential and directed him to renowned trainer Cus D’Amato, who became his legal guardian.

“Iron Mike” became the youngest heavyweight boxing champion of the world in 1986, at age 20. He lost the title in 1990 and later served three years in prison. After his release, he engaged in a series of comeback fights regaining the heavyweight titles (WBA & WBC) in 1996. He subsequently earned further notoriety by biting Evander Holyfield's ear during a rematch in 1997.

Tyson has gone on to appear in several films and a Broadway show on his life, become a best-selling author and launch a successful cannabis business.
