Q01 - All of my earliest memories seem to have wheels in them.

Q02 - All of my earliest memories seem to have wheels in them - either camping out in my dad’s old Fiat Ducato van or ragging round the fields on my 50cc motorbike.

Q03 - I spend zero energy thinking about anyone else. I just focus on myself and my bike and I feel I stand as good a chance as anyone.

Q05 - It's pretty embarrassing that I'm six-times world champion but I can't ride down to the local shops on a motorbike.

Q06 - I can ride a 220bhp bike at 200mph [on the track], but if I pop down to the shops, I’ll get stopped by the police.

Q07 - It’s mad: even though I ride 200mph superbikes for a living, I still haven’t passed my road bike theory test.

Jonathan Rea OBE is a Northern Irish professional motorcycle racer. He competes in the Superbike World Championship and is a six-time champion in the series.

He is the first to have won the Superbike World Championship six times (2015-2020). He also owns the highest number of SBK race wins, fastest laps, podiums and total points.

Previously he was runner-up in the Supersport World Championship in 2008, and runner-up in the British Superbike Championship in 2007. He was named Irish Motorcyclist of the Year in 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2016. Rea made two MotoGP starts in 2012, scoring points on both occasions, but has not been a regular rider in the championship.

He was nominated for the 2017 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award, finishing in second place to Mo Farrah.
