Q01 - There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one.

Q02 - I didn’t have a clue where I was going on my first lap of practice.

Q03 - I’ve always worked on the machines, especially the 125 and 250 which are really difficult to set up.

Q04 - It was nothing, just the normal thing to do at the time.

Joey Dunlop ranks among the greatest and most loved sportsmen Northern Ireland has ever produced.

The legendary Ballymoney motorcycle racer is best known for his performances at the Isle of Man TT, where he secured a record 26 victories. He also had 5 consecutive Formula One World Championships, 24 Ulster Grand Prix victories and 13 North West 200 successes.

He was awarded an MBE in 1986 for his contributions to the sport and an OBE in 1996 for his humanitarian work – solo trips in his van loaded with supplies to orphanages in Romania, Albania, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

He died in July 2000, while leading a 125cc race in Estonia after already winning the 750cc and 600cc events.
